brrrrrrrom bom bom!

you can tell summer's nearly here when the parades start up here in chester. there's only one ofver the winter months, but from here on in there's one every few weeks.
these guys were part of this week's st george's day parade through the city centre.

it was actually a lot warmer than it looks in this photo. i personally wouldn't have thought he'd much chance of catching anything significant from here - but what i know about fishing you can write on the back of a postage stamp.

this stranger obviously had had enough walking around in the gardens of a local heritage sight. i don't know where the kid was that this buggy belonged to, but the person occupying it didn't seem too bothered.
