Walk the Dog[s]

I passed these Strangers walking a herd of dogs as I walked mine. This is one of my dogs' favorite places to be walked, a DNR natural wildlife area. I rarely see other people out there [which is kind of the way I like it!].

Who Would Santa Vote For? That's right, I've once again spotted Santa. This time he was outside a polling place on last Tuesday's Super Tuesday. I would have thought he would be required to vote in the North Pole's primary. Do you think Santa is a Republican or a Democrat? He just gives out stuff, which seems sort of liberal. But he does want you to adhere to a moral code to get the stuff, which seems a bit Republican. Maybe he's an Independent. Maybe he was just here to check the list of people that have been naughty or nice. Which raises the question: do politicians ever get anything but coal? I'm just joking around and don't want to turn this into a political discussion (that's already happened completely by accident over on my blog). At the same time, I do think voting and the process of making your voice heard (even if it's a teeny tiny voice among the masses) is important, so if you get the chance, you should.

Talking dirty...

I suppose that at a farmers market, a farmer is a genuine pseudo-celebrity. This Stranger is an organic famer from the Bay Area who was talking about sustainable farming practices.

Making bread...

The Acme Bread Company is a non-stop flurry of activity... particularly on a busy Saturday morning at the SF Farmers' Market. These Strangers keep the bread moving from oven to cash register.

Making coffee...

At the San Francisco Ferry Building farmers' market, the Blue Bottle Coffee Company makes amazing coffees and espressos. This Stranger was making coffee the Blue Bottle way...individual servings of slow drip coffee.

Before and after...

One of the joys of watching volleyball is spotting how quickly the mood can change from agressive optomism to frustrating loss.
