Festifools!

Oh, the magnificent spectacle of a street parade. Festifools is in its second year and takes place on Main Street in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Classes at the University of Michigan create huge puppets and for an hour parade them downtown to music and lots of laughter. It's quite a sight.

I was there with a couple friends— we all dressed up like crazies and paraded down the street with our friend Matt, who is the tiger you can see in the first frame. Talk about strange-rs...

Can't beat life-sized parade puppets and lots of loud costumes.

Can't beat foolishness among friends and friends among fools. These are the kinds of events that one might dream of someday as having defined a moment of true togetherness... something about dressing a tad funny.
