Landing in San Diego...
I grabbed this shot as we were on approach to San Diego. The low light and high contrast forced this odd grainy image, but I like it better this way :)
Nice picture--maybe the color/graininess of the picture makes the subject seem more contemplative. It would be interesting to see what people's impressions of pictures are based on color change, for example--in this case, people may interpret that you were landing in San Diego to go to a funeral, etc., whereas in light or in color, for a vacation.
Great pictures, but maybe I'm missing something... do you need permission from the subjects to post their photos? It works that way in traditional publications??
Interesting, so you guys go around taking pictures of people and posting them on this blog. Then you have links to liberal websites that, no doubt, talk about the right to privacy. I wonder if anyone else sees the irony. Well, godd job on making it to the blog of notes. Wishing You Good Health And Plenty Of Wealth, S. Scott Craft
Sometimes, after I, Robert Robus, pen a blog post, and someone observes, "That is simply magnificent! Did you plan it out that way? Why, it must have been so, being brilliant and all," I, Robert Robus, say, "No: for I am not a deliberate genius. But after I'm done, I step back, look at the screen, and say, "Yes! I like it that way."
I really enjoyed perusing your blog. Particularly Mr. Man Candy. Yum! On the serious front, it was interesting looking at your work. Just the things I see when I look about me in my travels...

I really like this one....the composition as always is spot on and the texture is rich.
Well thank you, Buddy :)

Very though filled picture. I got a lot out of it. Siskenyon hit the right word, contemplative.
Reminds me of a still from "Seconds" by John Frankenheimer.

I think the graininess works for the photo as well. Don't we all feel like that at the end of a long flight?

What a great idea for a blog. I am such a people person and I will make sure to come back around to this blog. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
Hi. I like the blog, great pictures by the way, Check out my blog at StreetBlabber.blogspot.com Take care and have fun in San Diego
Nice blog, gives a nice inside view of common people in America. Here in Europe you sometimes get the idea common people don't exist in the US.

Good stuff, good stuff indeed. Keep it coming.
I like the grain in this shot, too. Wouldn't be nearly as interesting without it!
