The freezing cold waters of Northern California never seem to shake the brave surfers. The guy was part of a "pack" along Rt. 1 south of Big Sur.

That guy's insane. Do surfers normally go between reefs / rocks like that? The guy is either really good or high as a kite.
I'm assuming the black things in the water are rocks and not manatee or something.
I was thinking dolphins or sharks in the water maybe... My ex husband was a surfer so in my experience they aren't all that bright. Sharks wouldn't have deterred him from that one perfect wave. No offense meant to anyone else...
